It das been a good idea to cooperate between a couple of European orchestras from different countries since 2003: An Orchestra Network for Europe (ONE). Topic program – funded by the European Union – runs from 2011 to 2015. Ciculation of works, artists, musicians, chamber music groups between different orchestras enriches development and intercultural dialogue.
But the performance seems to be poor. In the “International Arts Manager” you can find a one-page-advert for ONE. If you take a look on the website it’s a shame: NEWS with old information, latest concerts from 2012 etc. This is really a pitty. ONE could be a best practice example of cooperation, but it looks more like a management and communcation desaster.
